Tilburg's Incubate Festival this coming September adds Andy Stott, Ides Of Gemini and more

Incubate Festival, which is set to take place in Tilburg, Netherlands, from 10th-16 September, has added a host of new names to an already impressive bill.

The festival, centred around independent culture, takes place in a number of venues around the city. The 2012 edition had already announced acts including Damo Suzuki, Silver Apples, Black Dice, A Winged Victory For The Sullen, Mi Ami, The Men, Maria & The Mirrors, Sex Worker, Meg Baird and Malcolm Middleton's new project Human Don't Be Angry. Now to that list, they've added Modern Love's purveyor of scooped-out 'knackered house' Andy Stott (pictured), guitarist Cian Nugent, Fully Blown, Black To Comm, Stinking Lizaveta, Ides of Gemini, Darsombra, Tarentatec, Monolith and Desolated.

The festival has also confirmed that the first additions to their film program are Kid-Thing, by the Zellner Brothers, and Framing The Other, a documentary by Ilja Kok and Willem Timmers. The former is set in Austin, Texas, and is based around a rebellious 10 year old girl called Annie; the latter focuses on the interactions between tourists and locals in Southern Ethiopia.

Tickets for Incubate are available now from the festival's website - they're currently on sale for a very reasonable early bird price, though presumably they won't remain at that level for too much longer. Click here for info and tickets.
