Dylan Richards guides us through a fantastic mix of current inspirations from house and techno

We're massive fans of King Cannibal over here at the Quietus, with our writer Frances Morgan praising his 2009 album Let The Night Roar thus: "Heavy music does not often keep you on your toes like this, but King Cannibal, the current pseudonym of South London DJ and producer Dylan Richards, breaks out of the tempting, coccoon-like bass depths that many of his dubstep peers inhabit and straight into the more savage corners of the imagination, with a collection of ten tracks that twist drum & bass, dancehall, techno, industrial noise and horror soundtracks into an infectious mix." We're therefore very pleased that King Cannibal - or Dylan Richards as his postman knows him - has done us a brilliant mix that, we hear, might shape the future sounds emanating from his dungeon: "it is a mix of house and techno tracks that have been inspiring the writing process of the next King Cannibal album, he tells us "For that reason it's also more of a relaxed mixed and a lot less dense then my most recent ones."
