Festival curators ATP have announced that they will host a one-off benefit concert, ‘Made in Japan’, with the aim of raising money for all those suffering in Japan in the aftermath of the recent disaster.

The show will be held at the Kentish Town Forum with all proceeds going towards the Japanese Red Cross, with the line up set to include Squarepusher (who will be performing a special improv/jam set), LFO, Fuck Buttons and DJs Declan Allen and N>E>D. In addition, anyone who buys a ticket to the event will receive a code that entitles them to a new and exclusive track by Autechre, ‘6852’. Codes and details for redeeming this track will be released on Monday.

Tim Biskup has also donated art for the event which will be on sale, with all profits going to the Japanese Red Cross, and there'll also be a raffle with prizes on offer including ATP festival chalets (and other ATP prizes), Spiritualized box sets and music from labels including Warp, Matador and EMI.

Tickets for ATP's Benefit Concert For Japan are priced at £20 + 50p and are on sale today from 10am via www.atpfestival.com. And kudos to the ticket companies for reducing their booking fees for the event...
