Shackleton and Wacław Zimpel are releasing an album together.

Titled Primal Forms, it marks the first time the pair have collaborated on record having first come together for a live appearance at Unsound festival last year. Above, you can hear lead track 'Primal Drones'.

The three-track album marks Shackleton's second appearance on Shapednoise's Cosmo Rhythmatic label, following on from last year's Reach The Endless Sea by Tunes Of Negation, a project comprised of Shackleton, Heather Leigh, Takumi Motokawa, and Raphael Meinhart.

Primal Forms is also Zimpel's second release of 2020, having put out a collaborative EP with James Holden, titled Long Weekend, in March.

Cosmo Rhythmatic will release Primal Forms on July 31, 2020.
