His latest project sees him debut on Shapednoise's Cosmo Rhythmatic label

Shackleton has revealed a new project as Tunes Of Negation.

He will team up with keyboardist Takumi Motokawa and mallet player Raphael Meinhart under the alias for an album called Reach The Endless Sea, which will be released on Shapednoise's Cosmo Rhythmatic label. From the album, you can hear 'Nowhere Ending Sky' above.

The seven-track album also takes in vocals from Editions Mego and Ideologic Organ affiliate Heather Leigh on its two opening tracks. A press release describes the record as "a meditation on the non-finitude of life and spirit, and the limits of perception in dealing with it".

Shackleton will debut live as Tunes Of Negation at Berlin Atonal later this month. Cosmo Rhythmatic will release Reach The Endless Sea digitally and on vinyl on October 17. This is Shackleton's first release since the two-track Furnace of Guts, which came out through his own Woe To The Septic Heart! label last September.
