Joy Orbison and Overmono, the duo of Tessela and Truss, have released a new collaborative record via XL.

The lead track 'Bromley', which you can hear below, takes its name from the part of south east London where Overmono have their studio. The record's B-side, 'Still Moving', will be unveiled next week when the full release is made available digitally and on 12-inch vinyl.

"Leaving the city daily to commute to the studio in the suburb of Bromley – the opposite direction to the usual daily grind – helped back up [Overmono's] creative ethos and push them to make music further outside of the known and well-trodden paths," a press release said of the new release.

The record follows on from Joy Orbison's recent Slipping EP which featured amongst tQ's favourite music of last month. Overmono also released a new two-track EP last month, via their Poly Kicks label, consisting of the tracks 'Le Tigre' and 'Salt Mix'.
