Owen Pallett to release new album next year

Final Fantasy, arranger for the Last Shadow Puppets and Rumblestrips and noted solo artiste in his own right, has signed to Domino Records, it was finally confirmed today.

The British label will release the Canadian's new album Heartland early next year on double 10" vinyl, CD and download, and will be preceded with a tour alongside the Mountain Goats at the end of the year.

Before that, there'll be a Final Fantasy headlining tour with Palett's countrymen Timber Timbre, and a performance of his live looped manipulations alongside the Novia Scotia Sympony orchestra.

Heartland follows Pallett's He Poos Clouds album, released on Tomlab in 2006.
