Pet Shop Boys have claimed that Drake used the chorus of their 1986 hit single 'West End Girls' on his track 'All The Parties' without permission.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Pet Shop Boys wrote: "Surprising to hear Drake singing the chorus of 'West End Girls' in the track 'All The Parties' on his new album. No credit given or permission requested." It's currently unclear whether Pet Shop Boys have subsequently followed up on the matter with Drake or his label, but they did add a hashtag to the tweet referencing music licensing company Kobalt Music.

In 'All The Parties', which appears on new album For All The Dogs, Drake uses the words 'East End boy and West End girls', referencing the chorus of one of Pet Shop Boys' best-known songs. Guest artist Chief Keef is included in the song's credits, but Pet Shop Boys are not. You can listen to the song above.
