In 2015, Efterklang embarked on a new project which saw them present 16 sold-out shows of their opera, co-written with Karsten Fundal and Ursula Andkjær Olsen, known as Leaves - The Colour Of Falling, and late last year it saw an official release.

Above, you can check some unseen footage from a show that took place during the original run of the opera. The show was performed in the corridors of a Cold War bunker below Copenhagen’s abandoned Municipal Hospital, making for a very intimate setting.

Now the group have reworked the opera for the larger concert hall setting of London's The Barbican which will play host to a one-off performance alongside The Happy Hopeless Orchestra on Thursday (Marcg 9). You can get tickets here.

The opera's full release late last year marked the first release from Efterklang since 2014 when the band said that they were taking some time out to reflect on their work as a group. You can listen below.
