Quietus Inn Mucky Pup Celebrates 5 Terrifying Years Tonight
John Doran , July 9th, 2011 09:00

The pub where the Quietus was hatched, over five pints of Landlord and a tray of Jager bombs, is tonight celebrating its fifth birthday.

The Mucky Pup, run by the redoubtable Angus Funston, has been a source of much succor and the odd bout of ill behaviour to the Quietus team despite both parties getting off on the wrong foot because Doran thought his name was Haggis for the first week he knew him.

Doran and Funston co-ran the Saturday Night DJ session The Olde Peculiar there for several years which saw many memorable sets from members of Chrome Hoof, Pavement and Teeth Of The Sea as well as wedding and birthday parties for many of our team.

Tonight Kavus from Chrome Hoof is doing one of his amazing prog, psych, kraut sets which will be destined to cleanse the inner eye. He has support from Doran who will be sitting in a corner playing platters from 6pm and the festivities will last well into the next day.
