Fifth annual festival of art and music sees a primary focus on women in experimental and electronic music and art

Entitled Space-Time: The Future, this year Wysing Arts Centre will host their fifth annual music and arts festival in August. The festival is set to celebrate "some of the incredible live output that sits at the intersection of art and music being made by women artists and musicians today".

Already announced on its impressive lineup are Quietus favourites Nik Colk Void of Factory Floor, Holly Herndon and Karen Gwyer of Opal Tapes and No Pain In Pop, as well as the excellent PAN and Werkdiscs certified Helena Hauff, composer Ashley Paul, cellist Lucy Railton, Glasgow based visual and performance artist Sue Tompkins, and many more. More info on the lineup can be found <a href "http://www.wysingartscentre.org/whats_on/annual_music_festival" target="out"> here.

The festival will take place at the Arts Centre on Saturday 30th August, and and will feature an epic twelve hours of live music, performance and screenings set across three indoor stages. There will also be a covered stalls area where you’ll be able to spend hard earned cash on artists’ editions, music merchandise and publications.

Tickets can be bought in person at the centre or online <a href "http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/space-time-the-future-tickets-11416706677" target="out">here, and can be bought with optional camping and a return coach to London.
