Supersonic Festival have announced the latest addition to this year’s line-up in the form of Holly Herndon who will play in support of her forthcoming album, Platform.
Herndon, whose live shows continue to explore her laptop as an unconventional instrument, joins the likes of the previously announced The Pop Group, Liturgy, Gazelle Twin and Will Gregory Moog Ensemble, among many others, on the line-up for this year’s edition of the Birmingham Festival. The organisers have also today announced a partnership with the Moog Sound Lab and Birmingham City University, offering temporary residency for artists to “explore, experiment and create with analog sound-scaping, synthesis and effects.” You can find all the sign-up details for that, as well as this year’s full line-up and ticket links here. Supersonic Festival takes places from June 11-14.
