Invaders from Mars 1953

One of the very first cold war allegories, Invaders from Mars is told from the perspective of a young boy who begins to notice his parents acting cold and distant and sporting weird markings on their necks. The film captures perfectly the 'Red Scare' idea that communists walk among us and apparently have zero emotions.
