Animal Collective have shared details of a new album, titled Isn’t It Now?
Spanning nine tracks, the new record includes recent 22-minute single ‘Defeat’, as well as ‘King’s Walk’, a previously unreleased cut that had been a fixture of the band’s live shows over the last few years. To mark the album’s announcement, they’ve shared another song from the album, ‘Soul Capturer’, which you can listen to above.
Isn’t It Now? is the successor to 2021 album Time Skiffs. In May, they reissued their 2000 debut album, Spirit They’re Gone, Spirit They’ve Vanished.
Domino will release Isn’t It Now? on September 29, 2023.
