More Acts Added To Lineup For Grace Jones-Curated Meltdown

A second performance by Jones herself, backed by an orchestra, has been newly confirmed, in addition to John Grant, Honey Dijon and more

A number of acts have been added to the bill for this summer’s Meltdown festival, curated by Grace Jones, at London’s Southbank Centre.

Rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic after originally being due to take place in 2020, this year’s event will now see Grace Jones take to the stage for a second time. She’s scheduled to open the festival with a performance that will see her backed by an orchestra, while the likes of John Grant, Honey Dijon, Hot Chip & the Kasai Allstars, Sky Ferreira, and Angélique Kidjo have also joined the bill for the event’s 27th edition. Peaches, Skunk Anansie and Oumou Sangaré are among the artists who were previously announced to play.

Grace Jones’ Meltdown will take place from June 10 to 19, 2022. Find more information here.
