Autechre Reveal New Album, ‘SIGN’

It's out on Warp Records next month

Autechre have a new album on the way.

Titled SIGN, the album is comprised of 11 tracks and clocks in at just over an hour. It follows on from a series of lengthy releases in recent years, including the Elseq series, their NTS Sessions of 2018 and an extensive number of live show recordings.

The pair first revealed that they would be releasing an album sometime soon back in March during a lockdown stream on Mixlr. Writing in the chatroom, they said that they had "just prepped" two albums, while also hinting at the release of some more "live things" in the future.

They further told fans at that time that their new live system was "99% complete," and that they recorded around 750 hours of jams last year.

Warp Records will release SIGN on October 16, 2020.
