Autechre have two new albums ready for release.
During a stream over the weekend via Mixlr, the duo took the time to provide fans with an update on new music via the chatroom. Revealing that they have "just prepped" two albums, they also hinted at the release of some "live things" soon, and added that they recorded 750 hours of jams last year. They further told fans that their new live system is "99% complete," adding that they just needed to do some more work on the intro to the set. You can see a screenshot of the updates via producer Richard Devine on Twitter here.
Autechre have been taking to Mixlr on-and-off over the last few days to live-stream a selection of music, for up to 12 hours at a time. Head here to check if they’re on air right now, and read back on when the duo did a similar broadcast via Mixlr last October.
