Beacons: East India Youth, Savages & More

Solange, John Talabot and Fucked Up also joining the bill for the Skipton festival in August

This year’s Beacons Festival just gets more and more ace – they’ve just announced a fresh round of additions to the line-up: East India Youth, the Quietus Phonographic Corporation’s excellent first signing, will be on the bill alongside one of our favourite new bands, Savages, and Solange, who’ll hopefully be playing material from her forthcoming third album.

Further excellent additions include John Talabot and Fucked Up, as well as Local Natives, Lunar C, Gabriel Bruce and Paradise, all of whom will be joining a bill that already includes: Theo Parrish, Oneman, Floating Points, Ben UFO, Moon Duo, Dutch Uncles, Esben & The Witch, Hookworms and Temples, Django Django, Eats Everything, David Rodigan, Oneman, Andres, Bondax, Bicep, Egyptian Hip Hop, Machine Drum Channel One Sound System, Move D, Chad Valley, Hoya Hoya’s Jon K, Childhood, Drenge, Wolf Alice and Jaws Thumpers.

UPDATE – March 7: Bonobo and Ghostpoet have now both been added to the festival’s line-up.

Beacons takes place on the Funkirk Estate just outside of Skipton in Yorkshire from August 16-18. For more details and tickets, head here, and in the meantime have a watch of this trailer video:
