GAS, the project of Kompakt label owner Wolfgang Voigt, has long been respected as one of the most important figures in ambient music, and now Voigt is preparing to release a retrospective of his work under the alias.
The four main releases of the GAS project – ZAUBERBERG, KÖNIGSFORST, OKTEMBER and POP – will be released together in one boxset, including the original masters uncut and packaged in their original design. GAS BOX will also come with an art book commemorating Voigt’s work under the GAS name, with the whole product available to buy from October 28.
