One of the Quietus’ favourite nights out of our own making last year was the gig we did with psychedelic glam group White Hills at The Lexington. They rocked hard, and disappeared into the night towards a Travelodge by the Dartmouth Crossing. We enjoyed it so much we decided to team up with Art Assembly and get them back for a second blaster in a larger venue – and what’s more than that, have put our name to their entire European tour. The London event takes place at Cargo on April 17th with supports to be confirmed – you can buy tickets for that on Ticketweb here and Wegottickets here. For those of you who like that sort of thing, there’s a Facebook event here. We can also tell you that the band will be releasing a new album via Thrill Jockey later this year and will be working with Jim Jarmusch in his new film Only Lovers Left Alive, starring Tilda Swinton. The band will play the track ‘Under Skin Or By Name’ in a scene shot in a Detroit bar. Check out our most recent interview with White Hills here.
