The Smile Share New Single, ‘Skrting On The Surface’

It's the third single to emerge from the project of Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner

The Smile – the trio of Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner – have released their third single of 2022, ‘Skrting On The Surface’.

Out now, the track comes backed by a music video made by BAFTA award-winning director Mark Jenkin, which was shot in the Rosevale tin mine in Cornwall with 16mm film that was developed in water from the mine. Watch the video above.

‘Skrting On The Surface’ follows on from recent singles ‘You Will Never Work In Television Again’ and ‘The Smoke’, as well as the band’s first in-person live performances, which took place in London in January.

‘Skrting On The Surface’ is out now on XL.
