The Horrors have today announced that they’ll be releasing their fourth album, Luminous, on May 5 via XL. They’ve trailed it with new single ‘I See You’, which has just had its first spin on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show – have a listen above. Following up in 2011’s Skying and recorded with producer Craig Silvey in the band’s East London HQ over the last 15 months, lead singer Faris Badwan says of the album, "We’ve refined our sound, and in terms of songwriting it is the record I’m happiest with,” while bassist Rhys Webb adds: "It’s not so much about heavier guitars as a heavier potency… We want to make music you can dance to, music that elevates…"
The band will be making a number of festival appearances this year, starting off with the 6 Music Festival in Manchester this Friday, February 28, and a set in support of Pixies on the second day of Field Day, June 8, in London’s Victoria Park.
