Suicide’s ‘A Way Of Life’ To Be Reissued For 35th Anniversary

The album has been remastered for the new release, and will also feature previously unheard tracks

Suicide’s 1988 album A Way Of Life is being reissued.

The album has been remastered especially for the updated release, which marks the record’s 35th anniversary and will be made available digitally, on CD and on transparent blue vinyl. The new version of the album also comes with previously unreleased bonus tracks, which were all discovered by musician Jared Artaud while he was going through the record vaults of late Suicide frontman Alan Vega. Listen to one of those bonus cuts, an unreleased version of Suicide’s live cover of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Born In The USA’, above.

Originally released more than a decade after the group’s self-titled debut album, A Way Of Life features classic Suicide tracks such as ‘Surrender’, ‘Jukebox Baby 96’ and ‘Dominic Christ’. It was produced by Suicide’s Vega and Martin Rev, together with The Cars frontman Ric Ocasek.

Mute / BMG will release A Way Of Life on May 26, 2023.
