Squid have released a new track, ‘Fugue (Bin Song)’.
It’s been a fixture of the band’s live performances for a number of years and a studio recording was first laid down during sessions for last year’s album O Monolith, but it didn’t ultimately make the cut for that record. Having been re-mixed and edited by Tortoise’s John McEntire in the latter part of 2023, the song has now been fully released as a standalone single ahead of Squid’s tour of North America next month.
