We last heard from Reject And Fade head honcho Michael Hann working under his Rejections moniker with March’s Vertical City EP. He promised a new release back then, and now he’s delivered Resin In The Filter, out on June 15 via Opal Tapes – have a watch for his video for the track ‘13.06.16’ above.
Talking about the new release, Hann explains: "William Burroughs famously put forward that language is a virus. Resin In The Filter examines through seven tracks a very personal take on this theme, as Rejections reviews and recycles e-mails, images, memories and sonics built up over a seven month-period to create layers of rhythm, noise and distortion. These in turn were used to meditate on the cacophony of narratives which have infected and distorted our reality, since the fall of the Tower Of Babel."
