PiL Announce New Album Tracklist

As we previously reported, Public Image Ltd are set to release their first album in 20 years, This Is PiL, on May 28th, through their own label PiL Official.

Now they’ve announced the full tracklist for the album, whose twelve tracks run as follows. John Lydon has also added some helpful commentary about a few of the album’s tracks, which is peppered through the tracklist below.

‘One Drop’ ("about my early youth in Finsbury Park. Fantastic! Hello, we’re all teenagers, don’t you forget it! At any age, stay young.")

‘I Must Be Dreaming’ ("Well, you know, I must be to put up with these governments.")

‘It Said That’

‘The Room That I Am In’ ("about drugs & council flats. And there’s a tragedy that still continues.")

‘Lollipop Opera’ ("basically a beautiful bunch of background noise and music to sum up Britain and all its wonderful ambidextrousness.")
