Further details of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ new double album, Ghosteen, have now been announced with a digital and streaming release set for October.
The album, which was first confirmed yesterday via a post by Cave on The Red Hand Files, will first be premiered at 10pm BST
on October 4 via YouTube and at a series of listening events that will take place around the world. You can sign up for updates on those events here.
A full CD and vinyl release of the album will follow on November 8. The album was recorded across 2018 and into early 2019 between Los Angeles, Malibu, Berlin and Brighton. It will be split into two parts, one featuring eight tracks and the other featuring two longer songs, as well as a spoken word piece.
Ghosteen Ltd. will release Ghosteen on October 4, 2019.
