Serbia’s Resonate festival has announced another set of additions to the line-up for this year’s event in the form of Blixa Bargeld, Senyawa and Machinefabriek.
The artists will all perform and also take part in the education programme of the festival, featuring lectures, workshops and Q&As with many of the artists performing at the festival. Bargeld will perform a special vocal show on the festival’s closing night, while Indonesian duo Senyawa are set to perform in Belgrade’s Drugstore venue. Dutch sound artist Machinefabriek will join Ben Frost for a night of music, supported by local acts HETEM and Nemanja Acimovic. Senyawa will also demonstrate how to build instruments from scratch as part of the festival’s programme, visiting local scrapyards and using discarded materials to do so. These additions join the already stellar line-up for Resonate, which includes Andy Stott, Machinedrum, Simian Mobile Disco and Terre Thaemlitz. Resonate takes place in Belgrade from April 13-18.
