New Event From Berlin Atonal Team

Berlin Atonal organisers ready a 30-hour event at Kraftwerk Berlin featuring appearances from Actress, Mika Vainio and Kassem Mosse

The team behind Berlin Atonal are teaming up with Berliner Festpiele for a 30-hour event, called ‘The Long Now’, at Kraftwerk Berlin, starting this Saturday (March 28).

Kassem Mosse and Mix Mup will present an improvisational project called ‘Chilling the Do’, while Actress and Mika Vainio will play live sets. The event will also play host to the world premiere of Porter Ricks member Thomas Köner’s ’Tiento De Las Nieves’. ‘The Long Now’ will conclude the 2015 MaerzMusik Festival für Zeitfragen, which aims to “help investigate issues of time and duration through long-form performances, audio-visual commissions, screenings and installations”. Performances kick off at 6pm on March 28 and run through to midnight the following day with visitors invited “to stay the night, eat, sleep, and investigate the Kraftwerk building throughout”.
