Mumdance Announces New Mix

A new 32-track mix, comprised entirely of unreleased material from a number of producers, will be released as a free download next month

Mumdance has announced a new 32-track mix called Shared Meanings, which will be available as a free download and cassette.

The mix is made up entirely of unreleased music from a number of producers, including SØS Gunver Ryberg, Peder Mannerfelt, Nkisi, JK Flesh, Caterina Babieri and ZULI. Also featured on the mix is a track from Mumdance & Logos called ‘Teachers’ which riffs on the Daft Punk track of the same name, paying respect to various grime, jungle and hardcore figures, amongst others.

Shared Meanings is billed as a follow-up to the DJ and producer’s Radio Mumdance series which was aired on Rinse FM and saw him play back-to-back with the likes of Ben UFO, Nina Kraviz, DJ Stingray and more.

The mix will be available as a free download from November 20, while a digital bundle of the individual tracks will be available on November 23, alongside a cassette of the mix and a vinyl sampler featuring five tracks.

Mumdance will launch the mix at Oval Space on November 23, where he’ll play alongside Logos. The bill also features Dopplereffekt, Lee Gamble and some as-yet unannounced guests. Find more information on that here.
