Madonnatron Announce Debut Album

Madonnatron announce details of their self-titled debut album, with live dates set for this summer.

Madonnatron have announced details for their debut self-titled album, out on July 28 via Trashmouth Records.

Recorded, produced, and mixed at Trashmouth Studios, the 10-track album is full of feline stealth, zealous homicide, and electric distortion, and you can hear lead track ‘Tron’ above.

The band are said to have started out with low expectations "given that none of them could actually play their instruments," a press release announcing the album’s release jokes. With their debut album now on the way though, they look set to join the likes of Fat White Family and The Moonlandingz to emerge from what the label describes as "the South London scene" of which they were a part. Last month, we premiered a video for ‘Headless Children’ which also features on the new album, and you can watch that here.

Having just played Brighton’s The Great Escape on May 18 and London’s The Brewshed on June 1, the band is set to continue promoting the album with multiple UK dates, which you can find below.

Madonnatron UK Tour Dates

July

7th – Luxford Bar, London (Fairbets fundraiser)

29th – Brixton Windmill, London (album launch)
