Mark Stewart is set to release a new single ‘Stereotype’, the latest from his album The Politics of Envy, on 1st October through Future Noise Music. The track in question features both Nik Void of Factory Floor (on vocals) and former PiL guitarist Keith Levene, and for the single he’s called in a formidable selection of remixers to give it a once over. The resulting set includes mixes from Front 242’s Daniel B, Hype Williams, Italoconnection, Chrissy Murderbot and Perc Trax boss Perc. You can listen to the latter’s remix below, where he re-tools the original into booming warehouse techno stompathon. It will be available exclusively from Beatport – the rest will be available here on the release date.
The ‘Stereotype’ single arrives in advance of a second album from Stewart this year, entitled Exorcism of Envy, which is released on 3rd December.
