Le Guess Who? has revealed the first wave of acts playing at next year’s edition of the festival.
John Dwyer of Thee Oh Sees, Lucrecia Dalt, Matana Roberts, Midori Takada and Mount Eerie’s Phil Elverum have all been tapped to curate part of the festival’s programme. They will all play live and invite a number of guests, who will be revealed at a later date.
Elsewhere on the 2021 line-up, Le Guess Who? has confirmed appearances from Low; Alabaster DePlume; Black Country, New Road; Kiko Dinucci; Bohren & Der Club of Gore; Mazaher; SPAZA; Ronald Langestraat; Tim Koh; Damon Locks’ Black Monument Ensemble; and Y-Bayani & Baby Naa with the Band Of Enlightenment, Reason And Love.
2021 curators Phil Elverum, Matana Roberts, John Dwyer and Lucrecia Dalt will all be involved in this weekend’s online edition of Le Guess Who?, LGW ON, which will take place in lieu of this year’s usual event and see all of them select a number of films and documentaries for streaming.
