Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood has provided the original score for new film Spencer.
The Pablo Larraín-directed movie, which is about Princess Diana and stars Kristen Stewart, is set to be released in cinemas on November 5, with Greenwood’s full score due to be made available the following week. Ahead of the full release, you can listen to one piece from the score, ‘Crucifix’, above.
Greenwood’s score for Spencer is his first since his work on 2018 films Phantom Thread and You Were Never Really Here. Earlier this year, he debuted a new project – The Smile – in collaboration with Radiohead bandmate Thom Yorke and Sons Of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner.
Mercury KX will release Spencer on November 12, 2021.
