Jeff Mills Releases New EP, ‘Powerland’, Under Millsart Alias

The four-track record explores elements of jazz and electronic music

Jeff Mills has released a new EP under his Millsart moniker.

Spanning four tracks, Powerland is inspired by the relationship between Earth and its surrounding universe, according to a social media post shared by Mills, which specifically referenced “an engineered string of energy called the 37th Parallel”.

The record, which you can listen to below, brings together elements of jazz and electronic music, and it forms the sixth part of the Detroit artist’s Axis Expressionist Series.

Powerland follows on from the July release of Mills’ most recent album, The Eyewitness.

Powerland is out now on Axis Records.
