Insane Clown Posse Fans Dangerous, Says FBI

FBI's latest National Gang Threat Assessment Report classifies the 'Juggalos' as a dangerous gang

Dedicated fans of the long running horrorcore rap group Insane Clown Posse, commonly referred to as Juggalos, have been classified as a dangerous gang in the FBI’s 2011 National Gang Threat Assessment report, reports The Guardian.

Juggalos, who can be distinguished by their vibrant clown makeup and penchant for the sickly soft drink Faygo, are described as a “rapidly expanding loosely organized hybrid gang” in the report. The report (which can be read here) cites an apparent disconcerting rise in Juggalo activity in the New Mexico area, “primarily because they are attracted to the tribal and cultural traditions of the Native Americans residing nearby”. This attraction may or may not be linked to the Insane Clown Posse’s tendency towards the mystic contemplation of such phenomena as “fucking rainbows” and “fucking magnets”.

Most Juggalos are displeased by their new found gang status. So far 200 have taken the step of signing a petition demanding the FBI reconsider the classification.
