Haruomi Hosono To Re-Record Classic Album

Hochono House is a re-arranged and re-recorded version of Haruomi Hosono's 1973 album Hosono House

Haruomi Hosono has confirmed plans for a new release called Hochono House.

A newly re-arranged and re-recorded version of Hosono’s 1973 album Hosono House, it will be released on March 6, and arrives amidst 50th anniversary celebrations of Hosono’s major label debut in 1969 with Apryl Fool. You can hear a new version of the Hosono House track ‘薔薇と野獣’ (Rose and Beast) below.

The re-recording of Hosono House follows on from an extensive reissue campaign of a number of Hosono’s solo works last year by Light In The Attic. The original of Hosono House was included amongst those reissues.

As well as the release of Hochono House in March, Hosono has confirmed plans for some US shows. He will play Gramercy Theatre in New York City on May 29 and the Mayan in Los Angeles on June 3 during that run of shows.
