Fabric Will Appeal Closure

fabric will work alongside NTIA to fight decision to revoke its license

This morning the owners of London’s fabric have confirmed that they will appeal the decision to take away their license.

As Mixmag reports, the appeal will be backed and funded by the Night Time Industries Association’s (NTIA) Fund For Fabric campaign, which will aim to raise £500,000 to help cover the club’s legal fees.

The organisation’s Deputy Chair, Alexander Proud, has described the decision as a "critical moment" for clubbing in the UK and said that he will personally donate £10,000 to the fund. The NTIA hopes that those who signed the petition to help the club before this week’s Islington Council license hearing will contribute to the fund to save the club also.
