If a better album than East India Youth’s Culture Of Volume is released this year, tQ editor John Doran assured everyone in his recent interview with William Doyle that he will "eat my hat and your hat and then get stuck into all of the other hats that exist for dessert". It is a gorgeous record. We reckon the milliners of London’s stocks remain unthreatened.
Doyle has now released the video for ‘BEAMING WHITE’, a lavish slab of synth-pop that stands out as one of the album’s most pop-oriented cuts and, with the enveloping limbs that he sings about made very real, it’s more than slightly sinister.
