When you’ve got three Bank Holidays in as many months, it feels like an important gesture to spend at least one Sunday night out dancing – and at least one Monday hidden under the duvet, wishing you hadn’t overdone it so badly. We’d recommend you do it at the Rhythm Factory on Sunday May 6th, where London promoters Colony are putting on an impressive evening’s entertainment alongside fellow promoters Scand.
Colony’s room looks set to feature a raft of great techno, with Perc Trax label head Perc playing his first London gig of 2012, alongside Horizontal Ground/Idle Hands broken techno types AnD, Phase, Colony’s own Tengui, MB & CB. If you’ve been following our interests over the last year or so you’ll know Perc’s music in particular has been on fairly constant rotation in the Quietus office – we’ll certainly be in attendance. In the second room Scand are offering more chaotic, ravey fare, with Billy Nasty, DMX Krew, Sync 24 & Innume, agent2 and Steve Allman.
For more, see the flyer below. The night is free before 11, £5 on the door thereafter, or £4/5 in advance.
