Björk will soon publish 34 Scores, a new book of sheet music collecting arrangements from across her discography including material from Debut, Post, Homogenic, Selmasongs, Vespertine, Medúlla, Volta and Vulnicura.
The book has apparently been in the works for the last six years, and was produced in collaboration with pianist Jonas Sen. It will be published by Wise Publications on June 5, although it will be available prior to that at the Björk Digital exhibition in Los Angeles which runs from May 19 – June 4. Björk will also perform alongside 32 string players to perform a number of arrangements from the book as part of her Los Angeles concert on May 30.
It was recently revealed that Björk is taking part in a new project raising money for Planned Parenthood. Alongside Laurie Anderson, St. Vincent and more, she has contributed to a series of 7" records which will feature collaborations between those involved and released over the coming months, while a boxset of the releases will also follow.
