Behringer Unveils New Semi-Modular Synth

Crave, a new semi-modular synth from Behringer, will retail at $199

Behringer, fresh from producing clones of a number of products from its rivals, has announced a new semi-modular analogue synth called Crave. You can watch a demo video for the synth above.

The synth is an original creation from Behringer and will retail at around $199. It comes with USB connectivity meaning users can sync the synth with computers, while it can also be run alongside Eurorack equipment.

The Crave also features a 3340 VCO oscillator much like the one found on Behringer’s Neutron synth and there’s also a Moog-style ladder filter, the same as the one featured on Behringer’s Minimoog remake, the Behringer D.

The company also recently revealed that its clone of the Roland TR-808 will be out in March and will retail for $299.
