Beastie Boys Hold Anti-Hate Rally

Rally was held in Adam Yauch's memory after far right graffiti was found in memorial park named after him

Beastie Boys have held an anti-hate rally in New York after a playground in the park named in the late Adam Yauch’s memory was defaced with swastikas.

Beastie Boys’ Ad-Rock urged those in attendance to "reject Donald Trump’s vision for America" as NY Daily News reports. Also found in the park was pro-Trump graffiti amongst the swastikas last week with the rally having been arranged over the weekend in response to this.

"Keep your eyes open, stand up for each other," Ad-Rock told those gathered at the park. "This is homegrown terrorism for real."
