Animal Collective are reissuing their 2004 album Sung Tongs to mark its 20th anniversary.
Set to be made available on Canary Yellow and Ruby Red-coloured vinyl, the repress of the band’s fifth studio album will also be accompanied by a new live album, Sung Tongs Live At The Theatre At Ace Hotel. Featuring a recording of the 2018 Los Angeles concert where Animal Collective’s Avey Tare and Panda Bear performed the album in full, the live LP will be released digitally as well as on colour vinyl.
To mark the announcement of the reissue and live album, which follows on from Animal Collective soon reissuing 2009 album Merriweather Post Pavilion, the band have shared ‘Kids On Holiday – Live’, which appears on Sung Tongs Live At The Theatre At Ace Hotel. You can listen to the track below.
