Angel Olsen Unveils New EP, ‘Forever Means’

It features songs written and recorded amid the same sessions as last year's 'Big Time' LP

Angel Olsen has a new EP on the way.

Titled Forever Means, it’s comprised of four songs that were written and recorded during the same studio sessions for last year’s album Big Time, which was informed by Olsen’s first experience of queer love after newly coming out.

To mark the EP’s announcement, Olsen has shared lead track ‘Nothing’s Free, which you can listen to above. Speaking about the track, the artist said: "It felt really difficult to exclude it from Big Time, but it felt more soulful than the direction of that record, it was coming from a different place. For me, when I wrote it, I was coming to terms with my identity and sexuality. I was opening up in a new way."

Jagjaguwar will release Forever Means on April 14, 2023.
