Angel Olsen has a new album on the way, titled Big Time.
Spanning 10 tracks, the album was written at a time that the artist was coming out as queer, and having her first experience of queer love. She also began recording it in the months after losing both her father and then her mother. Above, you can watch a video for the album’s lead single ‘All The Good Times’.
Speaking in a statement about her experience of coming out, and how it informed the record, she said: "Some experiences just make you feel as though you’re five years old, no matter how wise or adult you think you are. Finally, at the ripe age of 34, I was free to be me."
Jagjaguwar will release Big Time on June 3, 2022.
