13. Pink FloydDark Side Of The Moon
As a producer, I have to say: this is one of the best albums ever made. I don’t listen to if often, but when I do I have to listen to the whole thing. It’s like it’s been designed by architects. What’s so clever about it is the way they augment the band, with the saxophone, which is like another voice, and the voice of the girl [Claire Torry] on ‘The Great Gig In The Sky’. It’s like early sampling and tape loops. It never seems to get tired for me. That’s what you’re trying to achieve. It’s all there.
