Baker's Dozen

Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

6. LusineSerial Hodgepodge

You know instantly that it’s a Lusine track by how he programmes the synths – or the way the vocals just glide over the song – you just know it’s him. I’ve been a fan for ages and I saw him a few years ago in Shoreditch, I got too drunk though, but it was fun. He had a Novation Launchpad he was using which is what I use to play, and it was cool to see someone using that because you don’t really see many people using one. Serial Hodgepodge is one of my favourites from him, he worked as Lusine ICL too, doing more ambient, minimal stuff and I love that as well.
