I missed seeing Sepalcure, I didn’t realise they’d played in London until I saw something on Facebook, I was like ‘oh my god’. I was obsessed with them, they are my number one favourite electronic act. I think I found them on YouTube through Hotflush records, and it was when that post dubstep thing was flying around, and future garage – those sorts of sub genres. I just love their stuff. I was definitely trying to sound like them when I was like, 18 or 19.

Was that an alone time thing or did you carry it with you constantly?

Just when I’d be going to college or on the go – I really like listening to music when I’m out, it’s weird to walk around without listening to music.
