6. John HoltDusty Roads

This was the first reggae album. I bought this album with Green Shield stamp vouchers on my 16th Birthday from Woolworths and I felt well chuffed. What grabbed initially about this record was the cover of the sleeve, the background and the colours. I had a very imaginative mind from a young age that took me places. But with Dusty Roads, it was another classical reggae album, from another angle if you like as opposed to dub.
